Bio

Aidan Hartley was born in East Africa and attended Oxford University and London University. He currently writes a column for the Spectator called Wild Life and has written and presented several series for the BBC. His last book, The Zanzibar Chest, was an international bestseller and was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson Prize and the Duff Cooper Prize. He lives in Laikipia, in northern Kenya, with his wife and two children.
