I hope you’ll join me in welcoming the seventh edition of the “Accidental” series, titled, The Accidental Genie!
This story revolves around Jeannie Carlyle, a pretty, successful caterer who, while catering a swanky party, is accidentally trapped in the confines of, of all things, a gin bottle!
Everything goes haywire for Jeannie, which means a call to OOPS (Out In The Open Paranormal Support), a group of women who specialize in dealing with all manner of accidental, paranormal calamities. They know the score, as they’re all a result of accidents, too.
But the women of OOPS are all off for the day, leaving Sloan Flaherty, werewolf and reformed womanizer to pick up the slack. Sloan isn’t a fan of the organization his sister-in-law Marty spearheaded. Mostly, he just wants to watch football and indulge in a six-pack.
Until he hears Jeannie’s cry for help on the other end of the line, then all bets are off. When Sloan releases Jeannie from the bottle, all hell breaks loose, leaving him literally tethered to this cute as a button woman with haunted eyes and a really hot genie costume.
However, Jeannie, while relieved she’s been released from the bottle, is anything but pleased to find she can’t get a hundred feet from Sloan without crashing into his yummy, broad back, and her lips utter the word “Master” as though they were always meant to address him as such.
While Jeannie’s world begins to crash around her, magnified by the fact that her new wish granting isn’t limited to just three wishes, and they can be random and fluky, Sloan and the girls of OOPS try to help Jeannie cope with her new genie magic.
But Jeannie harbors dark secrets from her past—secrets that could end up not just hurting her, but Sloan, the man she finds irresistibly attractive, and the women she’s come to care so much for.
Jeannie tries to stay hidden in the shadows to protect her new friends, but an all-out djinn-Armageddon is in the making, and Jeannie’s smack dab in the center of it! I so hope you’ll join Marty, Nina, Wanda, Sloan and a cast of colorful characters as they set out to save Jeannie at all costs!
