InterMix, launched in January 2012, is Berkley/NAL’s e-initial imprint. InterMix introduces original e-books from new authors and offers favorite backlist titles from beloved authors not previously available as e-books. From fresh, independent voices to popular bestsellers, the imprint publishes a wide variety of fiction across genres—including romance, mystery, science fiction, and fantasy—and topical, timely nonfiction.
InterMix was introduced with the publication of several titles by #1 New York Times bestseller Nora Roberts—novels that had never been available in e-book format. Just five months later, the imprint scored its first never-before-published New York Times bestseller with Beth Kery’s Because You Are Mine, an innovative eight-part serialized novel. Recent successes include newly-released hits by Jennifer Ashley, Jessica Clare, Kim Karr, and Samantha Young. InterMix also continues to publish backlist titles by such popular authors as Nora Roberts, Jayne Ann Krentz, Catherine Coulter, and Jo Beverley.
In addition to full-length novels, InterMix publishes novellas at a competitive price, allowing readers everywhere to sample debut and bestselling authors, including fan favorites Jennifer Ashley, Jaci Burton, Karen Rose, and Nalini Singh.
