Razorbill, an imprint of Penguin Random House, is dedicated to young adult and middle grade books. We are committed to taking risks and exploring new ways to tell stories.

Razorbill is home to the instant New York Times bestseller An Ember in the Ashes, an epic high fantasy debut by Sabaa Tahir, and its sequel, A Torch Against the Night. Our broad-ranging young adult hardcover fiction list includes Jay Asher’s debut novel, Thirteen Reasons Why, a perennial New York Times bestseller and multiple award winner that has been published in thirty-five languages, as well as his latest novel, What Light. Razorbill’s popular series titles include Falling Kingdoms by New York Times bestselling author Morgan Rhodes, Zodiac by Romina Russell, The Merciless by Danielle Vega, and Richelle Mead’s #1 internationally bestselling Vampire Academy, Bloodlines, and Glittering Court series.

Ben Schrank

President and Publisher

Ben Schrank joined Penguin in 2006, after serving as editorial director of Alloy Entertainment. Mr. Schrank has been a creative writing professor in the MFA program at Brooklyn College and has written novels for adults and teenagers, including, most recently, Love Is a Canoe.
