#1 New York Times-bestselling Dutton Children’s Books author John Green attended the TIME 100 gala at New York’s Lincon Center on Tuesday night as one of the year’s 100 most influential people recognized by the magazine.  Green conducted a number of interviews on the event’s red carpet, including one with Vulture, in which he talked about recently watching a screening of The Fault in Our Stars film:  “I watched the movie for the first time with my wife, and I was very nervous, because I didn’t know if I was going to like it or not. My wife actually cried much more at the movie than she did the book! But I was deeply, deeply moved. And I was really overwhelmed. I laughed and cried a lot.”    The new edition of Entertainment Weekly that hits newsstands on Friday devotes its cover and a 9-page feature to The Fault in Our Stars, including interviews with Green and producer Wyck Godfrey as well as cast members Ansel Elgort, Shailene Woodley, and Nat Wolff.  The 20th Century Fox film opens nationwide on June 6 and the just-released full The Fault in Our Stars trailer can be viewed here.
