, it was announced that Moyers & Company was nominated for an Emmy in the "Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis" category for their hour-long interview
with Blue Rider Press author Mark Leibovich. In the episode, called “Mark Leibovich on Glitz and Greed in Washington,” host Bill Moyers spoke with Leibovich about his New York Times bestseller, This Town, and politics in the nation’s capital. Moyers instructed: “Whatever you’re doing these last days of summer. Stop. Take some time, and read this book. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and by the last page I think you’ll be ready for the revolution.” The episode originally aired August 23-25, 2013.
The trade paperback of This Town
went on-sale May 29, 2014 and, once again, caught the attention of major media. “You should buy his new paperback edition, which is out this week with a new afterword…It’s as brilliantly reported and sharply written and fun as everyone says it is,” said Time.com

. The 35th Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards honors programming distributed during the calendar year 2013. The News & Documentary Emmy Awards will be presented on Tuesday, September 30th, 2014, at a ceremony at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center, located in the Time Warner Center in New York City.
