Yesterday the Writing Center and Roosevelt House at Hunter College celebrated the launch of Perigee’s What Jackie Taught Us: Lessons from the Remarkable Life of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis by Tina Santi Flaherty, with a panel discussing Jackie’s many achievements. As featured in The New York Post’s “Page Six”, the speakers, in addition to Flaherty, included these What Jackie Taught Uscontributors: columnist Liz Smith; author Malachy McCourt; Kent Barwick, president emeritus of the Municipal Art Society; and Declan Kiely, curator of literary and historical manuscripts at the Morgan Library & Museum. The event was filmed by C-SPAN.
Other media for the book includes coverage in the Miami Herald’s “Radar” section
as “Hot Stuff Celebrities Love,” an upcoming piece in The Palm Beach Post
and a forthcoming interview on Bloomberg Business Radio. Tina Santi Flaherty will read, take questions and sign copies of the book on Thursday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (150 East 86th Street) in NYC.
