Razorbill’s Jay Asher, author of the #1 New York Times bestseller, Thirteen Reasons Why, with more than 2.3 million copies in print, took the book, and his message #ReasonsWhyYouMatter, on a true national tour, hitting all 50 U.S. states. Starting in October 2014 (National Bullying Prevention Month) and ending this month, Asher’s 50 States Against Bullying tour gave the author the opportunity to interact directly with high school students to discuss bullying and teen suicide. Asher’s eight-month tour covered 50,000 miles, and he met 30,000 students.  Publishers Weekly presented visual snap shots, from Alaska to this month’s concluding stop in Hawaii, in Jay Asher’s ’50 States Against Bullying’ Tour in Photos feature this week.  Asher recapped every state he visited on his blog as well.  Click here to watch Asher’s 50 States Against Bullying tour sizzle reel.
