Stéphane Jorisch has illustrated many beautiful books for children, and he also curates two art collections in Canada. He was nominated for the Hans Christian Anderson Award and won the prestigious Governor General's Award for his artwork. He was particularly taken with Betty Bunny and her family because they remind him so much of his own family (especially his kids!). Mr. Jorisch lives with his wife and three children in Montreal, Canada.

Meet Betty Bunny.

Meet Betty Bunny. She's proud to be a handful (because she doesn't know what that word means). Her mommy wants her to have patience. She wants to have cake (because it tastes so much better than patience). Betty Bunny is every preschooler you know: always loveable, often a handful, and seldom understands whey she can't always get her way.
