Editorial Assistant Emilia McFerren joined Kokila in March 2026. She is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University and the University of Glasgow, where she studied Art History and Clothing History. Previously, she worked as a Bookseller, a Literary Intern at The Walt Disney Company, and an Events Assistant at the Kweli Journal. She lives in New York City by way of Western Pennsylvania and is passionate about inclusive stories and happy endings.
