Camille LeBlanc acquires fiction and nonfiction for Viking Penguin. She is drawn to literary and upmarket fiction with an irresistible voice and hook, character-driven crime, suspense, and thrillers, and novels that offer a fresh lens on the world—whether through an evocative sense of place, sharp social critique, or an innovative speculative premise. On the nonfiction side, she loves narrative nonfiction, cultural criticism, voice-driven essay collections, and popular history and psychology. She has worked with authors including Barbra Streisand, Lev Grossman, Adam Grant, Colin Woodard, Uché Blackstock, Evan Friss, Alejandro Zambra, Jean Chen Ho, and Ray Kurzweil, among others. She joined the team in 2020 after working at Literary Hub and as an assistant to a bestselling crime writer.
