Jessica Wade is a senior editor at Berkley, acquiring mostly in the areas of mystery and fiction with a speculative element. She joined the imprint in 2004 and has acquired and worked with a list of bestselling and award-winning authors, including Aliette de Bodard, William Gibson, Faith Hunter, Sofie Kelly, Mark Lawrence, Anthony Ryan, and Chloe Neill.

Michelle Vega is an Executive Editor at Berkley. She started her publishing career as an intern for Viking and then worked as editorial coordinator for Alpha Books. She began her career with Berkley in 2005. She loves a tightly plotted thriller, suspense novel or mystery with characters you can’t stop thinking about just as much as a terrifying ghost story and works with such bestselling authors as Simone St. James, Deanna Raybourn, Rhys Bowen, and C.S. Harris.

Angela Kim (she/her) is an Editor at Berkley. She is looking for thriller/suspense that is chilling yet darkly humorous and witty, sweeping contemporary romance with sparkling chemistry, book club fiction that speaks to the peculiarities of the human condition, and genre-blending mystery that is equal parts gritty and feel-good. Angela is drawn to distinct voices and unforgettable storytelling and is particularly interested in collaborating with authors from underrepresented communities. She works with award-winning and bestselling authors such as Ashley Herring Blake, Mia P. Manansala, and Lynn Painter.

Jen Monroe joined Berkley in November 2016. She acquires psychological suspense/thrillers; dark, edgy book club women’s fiction; speculative fiction; and narrative nonfiction. Her recent and upcoming titles include My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing, How Quickly She Disappears by Raymond Fleischmann, and Happy and You Know It by Laura Hankin. Previously, Jen spent two years at HarperAudio where she spearheaded original programming, and produced in-house podcast HarperAudio Presents.

Anne Sowards is Executive Editor at Berkley. She joined Berkley in 1996 and primarily acquires and edits fantasy and science fiction for Berkley’s Ace imprint. She has acquired and worked with many bestselling authors, including Jim Butcher, Patricia Briggs, Ilona Andrews, Charlaine Harris, Anne Bishop, Jack Campbell, Rachel Caine, and Stephen R. Donaldson.

Some of her recent and upcoming titles include: Next Year in Havana, A Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick, and When We Left Cuba, both by New York Times bestselling author Chanel Cleeton; The Big Finish by Brooke Fossey; The Kennedy Debutante by Kerri Maher; and The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman.

Danielle Perez joined Berkley in 2010 as an Executive Editor, and she focuses on commercial and upmarket commercial fiction, including suspense, psychological suspense, thrillers, contemporary women’s fiction and book club fiction. Before joining Berkley, she was a Senior Editor at Bantam, where she worked with New York Times bestselling authors Tami Hoag, Harlan Coben and Jonathan Tropper.

Executive Editor Kerry Donovan joined Berkley in 2004. She acquires upmarket commercial fiction, historical fiction, and romance. Recent and forthcoming titles include Minor Dramas & Other Catastrophes by Kathleen West, You Were There Too by Colleen Oakley, The Antidote for Everything by Kimmery Martin, and Well Met by Jen DeLuca.
